Little bits of my opinions

I am in one of those moods to share my anti- socialism views and my frustration with my generation for helping ruin the country I love.
This man displayed above is the best damn president we have ever had and probably will have.
We all know Lincoln was republican and he fought for the equal rights of all people? A REAL republican would do this, fight for the rights of gays, lesbians, blacks, hispanics, women and so on. The only reason that gays should not get married is religious and did we forget about separation of church and state, hello? And that is what being a republican is about in my book! So to say the least, despite the large flaws in republicans today I am an open- minded republican.
How is my generation ruining our country? About seventy percent of them are hardcore democrats in my state, at least. And I mean, the democrat could cause four trillion dollars in debt in only three years and they pass it off like it is nothing? How can my generation not see how bad this is for us? We have to pay off that, not them! And I am not saying all democrats are bad, just the closed minded ones.
I hate socialism! I work with three. Have you ever gone into the DMV sat in line for an hour for something that only takes ten minutes to do? The government sucks at everything they run, don't get me wrong I am not a hardcore libertarian, but I do believe we should have as many rights as possible and as little government as possible and paying taxes so we can have things we absolutely need like a good education and decent military. But my god, we spend money on what.. a 13 billion dollar healthcare that we cant pay for???? And worse of all, government run healthcare is horrible in history and history does repeat itself. If a doctor is lazy and screws up on an operation, you think you will be able to sue them or get any compensation..? No way. You think people will be running to become doctors to make barely any money? No. Healthcare will only become less accessible then ever. Look at other countries for the example, you have access to that information everywhere. And do people really think the government wont eventually become a dictatorship having that much control?
I guess ignorance is bliss.
Wise words from abe:

"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

"Common looking people are the best in the world: that is the reason the Lord makes so many of them."

"Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties."

  1. ouch.. lol I came over cause you left me a comment on my blog from the weekly music link up i think. Anyway, I agree with most of your thoughts. Not that you need me to agree with you. I have a few different views on healthcare but that's only because I'm a nurse and a vet and familiar with the VA ( government ran healthcare) it has good and bad but the main thing is we need to change and it starts with people at home. Yes democrats and republicans can point fingers all day long but honestly I think parents need to point some fingers at htemselves. Propbably yoru parents and my parents ( not that we are tha bad) but it was their generation that made not eating at the supper table a priority and well raising kids in general seemed to slip from their minds alot i think. ( again i was using our parents generation as an example your parents are probably fine and decent mine. ) ;-) anyway I liked reading your bits of opionions as you called them. I'll follow along if you will have me.

  2. I have to say I strongly disagree with you in terms of free universal health care, it is very clear that you have no experience with a properly run health care system.

I'm from Denmark, small country, 5.5 million people, but we have one of the strongest economies in the world, we come in as the happiest country in the world over and over again despite our miserable weather, we pay the highest taxes in the world, but out minimum wage is also $18 an hour, all education (including tertiary level) is free, and students actually get paid to study. And yeah, our health care is free. 90% plus is completely satisfied with the health care system, we have more doctors and hospital beds per person than the US, whilst spending half the amount of what the US does. So, we get more for less money, everyone is covered, and more than 90% are satisfied. Sounds horrible indeed...

    Check out these links:

    1. Please respect my opinions like I respect yours. I do not need to be persuaded, I know my beliefs and "experience" has nothing to do with it.
How many people pay taxes in your country? Ours is 50 percent, our country is not set up for universal healthcare and is not based of those principles and there is NO WAY we can afford it. There is plenty of countries that have turned out wrong, most actually. Like Venezuela that have horrible healthcare and many people dying because of it.
You know we have "DEATH panels" set up in Obamacare MEANING how much "FREE" healthcare you get is not decided by you but by your social standing in the community. SICK.

MY BELIEFS: Is you should work hard and earn stuff for yourself.

If you disagree I have no problem, that is what I LOVE about my country. :)

  3. I'm sorry if you felt I disrespected your opinion, what exactly made you feel that way (I'm asking, because that wasn't my intention, and I'd like to reconsider how I phrase myself in the future).

I was trying to show a different perspective, the impression I got from your post, was that there are NO countries in which universal healthcare can work, and that's just not true. I'm also surprised you want to compare the US to Venezuela, I thought you'd normally compare countries that are on more of an equal footing.

My problem with "work hard and earn stuff for yourself", is that some people never have the chance. Some people are born sick, or get sick at a very young age, and you don't decide which family you are born into. I believe both of our countries, are rich enough to take care of the basic health care needs of its citizens, and I believe that such health care is a human right.

Again, I'm sorry if I've come across as disrespecting your opinion, that is not my intention.
